Harrison Barraclough

The Restaurant

Yorkshire born and bred Harrison Barraclough has recently taken over the George at Wath.

Passionate about local produce and cooking in modern techniques, Harrison was one of the youngest chefs in the country to win a coveted culinary award in his previous role, an AA Rosette, with inspectors declaring that the meals Harrison served stood out in the area and that diners could eat 'with a sense of anticipation.'

Now at the helm of The George, he's looking forward to welcoming you to his new venture and exciting times ahead.

Freddie's Patch

'Freddies Patch' named after his little two year old son, Freddie. He has been helping his daddy this week and was particularly good and digging and flicking mud around!

May sure you visit it located in the Beer Garden during your time with us - our very own herb garden and vegetable patch can also be seen! This is great for our team of chefs which enables them to enhance their understanding of seasonality and knowledge of home-grown produce.
